- Athlete and football information, such as position, team, experience, achievements, goals, photos, videos, moments, and opportunities.
- Guardian information, permissions, consent records, and the relationship to a young athlete.
- Professional information, such as organization, role, credentials, verification data, watchlists, and activity.
- Technical and usage information, such as device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, interactions, diagnostics, security logs, and approximate location.
- Messages, feedback, reports, and communications sent to AyO.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize AyO; create and display profiles and content according to user settings; connect athletes with relevant people and opportunities; verify accounts and professional roles; support Guardian-managed experiences; maintain safety, security, integrity, and moderation; provide support; analyze and improve the service; and comply with legal obligations.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use numeric public ratings for minors.
- Advertising, when offered, is subject to AyO's youth-safety and contextual advertising controls.
3. Young athletes and Guardians
AyO is designed with additional protections for young athletes. Accounts and participation for children under 13 must be created and managed through an authorized Guardian where available. We may request parental or Guardian consent before collecting, using, displaying, or sharing a child's information. Guardians may manage permissions and request access, correction, or deletion.
- Young-athlete visibility and contact options are limited by age, role, consent, and safety settings.
- Professionals may be subject to verification and role-based access before contacting or evaluating young athletes.
- If you believe a child provided information without appropriate authorization, contact us immediately.
4. When we share information
We share information only as needed to operate AyO, follow user choices, protect the community, or meet legal requirements.
- With other users according to profile visibility, consent, and platform features.
- With Guardians connected to a young athlete.
- With service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, communications, security, and support under appropriate obligations.
- With authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or prevent fraud.
- In connection with a corporate transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
5. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide AyO, meet legal and safety requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by data type and account status. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain uses of personal information, withdraw consent, and appeal a decision. You may also manage account and visibility settings. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
